Recycled polyester
We chose to use Recycled polyester because it’s better for our environment. Following internationally recognized recycling standards, its production uses certified post-consumer recycled polyester yarn. This material averts incineration and sending litter to the landfill, giving visibility to the people and organizations tirelessly contributing to a cleaner planet. Including this material in our bags creates awareness of the predominant problem of waste and new resources.
Learn more about the recycled polyester and other fibers we use within the Materials page.
Items made from recyled polyester and it can be machine-washed. Wash at a cold temperature or at a maximum of 30ºC / 86°F. When the programme is ready, take it out as soon as possible, to prevent it from creasing. Afterwards hang it to air dry. We recommend steam ironing only at low temperature. Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean.
Recycled cotton
Cotton is a primary material utilised in the textile industry — which means it has a significant presence in landfills. Fabrics made from recycled cotton uses both pre and post-consumer waste, transforming them into new fibres that can be reintegrated into the fabric production process.

Items made from recycled cotton should be washed in cold water or temperature up to 30ºC / 86° F. Put your garment inside a washing bag when using the washing machine to avoid damage. Use a bleach-free detergent. Let it air dry with a hanger for crease-free results.
Hanging your pieces inside out will help prevent color fading when exposed to the sun.
We do not recommend tumble-drying.
Bamboo
Bamboo is an easily renewable, fast-growing, low irrigation plant with anti-bacterial properties. Following internationally recognized farming standards, its production improves soil quality and prevents erosion, it does not require the use of chemical pesticides or fertilisers.

Bamboo fabric can be machine-washed, at a cold temperature or at a maximum of 30ºC / 86ºF. When the program is ready, you should take it out as soon as possible to prevent it from creasing. Whenever possible, hang to air dry, because it is better both for the product and the environment. Do not bleach, iron, tumble dry, or dry clean.
Cupro
Being a more ethical and cruelty-free alternative to silk, cupro was a natural choice for us to use in our products. It is a plant-based material with all the drape and textural qualities of silk. Cupro is hypoallergenic and breathable as cotton and, unlike silk, it is machine-washable.

Clothes made from cupro can be washed by hand or in the machine at 30ºC / 86ºF, using a delicate cycle and mild detergents. Whenever possible, hang your clothes out to dry or lay them flat not to alter their natural shapes. Steam ironing is recommended at medium temperature to remove wrinkles more easily. Do not tumble dry and do not use bleach.

Recycled marine plastic
We chose to use Recycled marine plastic made with SEAQUAL® YARN because it’s better for our environment. Following internationally recognised recycling standards and being highly certified, its production uses premium quality post-consumer recycled polyester yarn, which also contains upcycled marine plastic. It contributes to the circularity of materials, by giving a second usage to long-lasting composites that otherwise would either be incinerated or sent to the landfill, giving visibility to the people and organisations tirelessly contributing to a cleaner ocean.
Including this material in our bags creates awareness of the predominant problem of marine litter.

Products made from recycled marine plastic should be cleaned with water and mild soap, using a soft bristle brush. Let the cleaning solution soak into the fabric and then remove the soap with clean water and leave it to air dry. Wool
In an effort to alleviate the issues brought on by the world's excessive production of cotton and its significant irrigation requirements, we are beginning to rotate our assortment of natural fibers.
Wool, a natural, renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable fiber, stands at the forefront of our efforts. Our wool yarn adheres to Woolmark standards, ensuring its quality, authenticity, and sustainability, while also exemplifying exceptional durability.
Learn more about wool, also known as lambswool, and other fibers within the Materials page.
Hand washing is recommended for wool to maintain its softness and prevent pilling. The wool fibers in lambswool have delicate cuticle cells that protect the outer layer, and machine washing can disrupt these fibers, leading to a loss of softness. By hand washing, you can ensure that your piece remains soft and in good condition.
After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing or twisting the garment. Lay it flat on a clean surface to dry, avoiding hanging to prevent any potential stretching. Whenever possible and in case of minor stains, opt for spot cleaning to minimize full washes and preserve the garment’s integrity. We recommend steam ironing at medium temperature in order to stretch the fibres to their original shape, specially when shrinkage occurs.
Vegan leather
We choose vegan over traditional leather, committing to animal welfare and ethical production processes for all beings, human or not.
Some of our accessories are made of vegan leather, a material that is composed of cotton (19,5%), polyester (26,3%), and polyurethane (54,2%). Having cotton in its composition makes it quite soft, and gives it a nice, warm touch.
Learn more about the vegan leather and other fibers within the Materials page.
We advise cleaning your products made from vegan leather with a sponge and soapy (preferably natural soap) water. Remove the soap with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
In case of more resistant stains, these can be removed with a mild solvent, like alcohol. We do not recommend bleach, iron, tumble dry, or dry clean products made from vegan leather — they may damage the material or fragilize its properties.
Organic cotton
Following internationally recognised farming standards, its production uses less energy and less water and reduces the emissions of greenhouse gases. It also limits the use of insecticides, pesticides or fertilizers, therefore protecting the soil and the water sources from being polluted, and the farmers from exposure to these chemicals.
